Our Sporting Life
First exhibition opens March 2010
RFA has been appointed by the Sports Heritage Network to design and deliver a programme of exhibitions that celebrate the sporting heritage of Britain, in the build up to the London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic games.
Asking the question “What does sport mean to you?” “Our Sporting Life” seeks to identify sporting moments, heroes, objects, photographs and experiences that have inspired the people of Britain.
Launching in March 2010 at the River & Rowing Museum, Henley, Our Sporting Life will exhibit at venues around the UK over the next two years, celebrating each area's unique sporting achievements. These local exhibitions will be brought together in a major exhibition in London 2012, uniquely showcasing the sporting life of Great Britain.
