The British Commercial Vehicle Museum was a significant design challenge: to turn a run-down, part-time museum into a fully open facility with significantly increased visitor numbers. A new vision for the displays was required.
A dramatically illustrated 120-metre Timeline was positioned above beautifully cared-for commercial vehicles to bind the entire display and enhance newly created dramatic vistas through the main hall.
Layered information on kiosks interprets each vehicle, and interactive displays – including a Lorry-driving Experience – provide hands-on engagement.
